Sinners (2024)

For 33 years, a Southern California college professor led over 1,000 students on 113 week-long tours of state prisons, developing and running programs within them. These experiences brought students face-to-face with thousands of inmates, profoundly changing their perspectives. Students discovered humanity in unexpected places, a revelation that inspired the professor to write a poem, "Sinners," capturing the essence of these transformative journeys. The poem is presented alongside scenes from the professor's acclaimed prison documentaries.
