THE ELECTRIFYING CONCLUSION documents the final four hours of GUIDED BY VOICES, one of indie rock's most important bands. The film presents their last concert at Chicago's Metro on New Year's Eve 2004 – a setlist of sixty-three songs – captured completely uncut. It powerfully conveys the energy and nostalgia shared by the band and their audience during this memorable night, featuring fantastic performances of both familiar GBV songs and rare classics. The DVD also includes over 20 minutes of bonus material, including four live songs from 1994 and footage of Bob Pollard recording demos for Half Smiles of the Decomposed.
