The Coal’s Daughter (2024)

Oliwia, in her twenties, starts a difficult path. To continue her family's tradition and encouraged by her mother, she takes a job at a coal sorting plant in a Silesian mine. She operates machinery, manually removes industrial waste, and cleans coal dust. Her family has always known only mining, and the mine symbolizes security and a comfortable retirement. Oliwia’s sister Iza, wanting a better life for her, shows her other possibilities.
