Description:
Following the deaths of her father and uncles, Jone (Josemi's daughter) sets out to create a documentary about the Ibarretxe Brothers. These were early pioneers in Basque filmmaking – inventive, playful, and constantly innovating – who championed cinema in the Basque Country long before it was widely recognized. By examining their films and interviewing those who worked with them (including Stephen Fry, Echanove, Ramon Barea, Santiago Segura, and José Luis Rebordinos), Jone slowly discovers that the brothers' films are a direct reflection of their personalities.
