Description:
Two cavemen, The Duke and Stonejaw Steve, seek the attention of Miss Araminta Rockface. A fight ensues between the rivals, and Steve triumphs by throwing The Duke into a pot of boiling water. A title card introduces a third contender, "our unassuming hero, Theophilus Ivoryhead." Miss Rockface invites the three men into her father's dwelling, apologizing for the lack of tea, as it hasn't been invented yet. The Duke and Steve fight again, prompting everyone to flee. Mr. Rockface discovers his dinner has been eaten by Wild Willie the Missing Link. He informs the suitors they must find their own meals. Steve shoots an arrow at a desert quail, missing the bird but hitting The Duke's rear. Meanwhile, Wild Willie, still hungry, hunts for snakes and instead finds a dinosaur's tail.
