After a six-year hiatus, Yanni's *Yanni Voices* features vocalists interpreting his classic songs, blending familiar tracks with new music. The album introduces Leslie Mills, Chloe Lowery, Nathan Pacheco, and Ender Thomas, the four singers at the heart of the project. Released by Disney Pearl Imprint and produced by Buena Vista Concerts, the album launched a tour starting in April 2009, beginning with a live concert filmed at the Forum in Acapulco, Mexico. This concert was later broadcast as a television special on PBS in March 2009. *Yanni Voices* includes Spanish duets with Latin artists, along with the new vocalists, and features special guests Lucero, Cristian Castro, and José José.
