Dan Snow travels to China to explore the incredible story of the Terracotta Army, an archaeological find hidden for more than 2,000 years. In 1974, farmers accidentally discovered this ancient collection of thousands of life-sized soldiers, created to accompany the Emperor in the afterlife. The site also contains painted figures, stone armor, and the remains of the Emperor’s concubines, buried with him. Dan Snow's investigation reveals new details about China's first Emperor, who united the country through power. At the center of the complex is a massive earthen pyramid, the Emperor's tomb, protected forever by the Terracotta Army.
