Homeland (2008)

After his service in the Israel Defense Forces, Kobi Zucker seeks refuge in New York City on his journey to South America, haunted by memories of the Middle East. While working to fund his trip, he meets Leila, a beautiful and intelligent Palestinian woman who recently arrived from the West Bank with her family after her brother's death during the Intifada. Despite their backgrounds, Kobi and Leila fall in love. However, Leila’s surviving brother, Ghazi, struggles to adjust to life in America and becomes increasingly influenced by a radical Muslim preacher. Now determined to protect his family's honor, Ghazi threatens their relationship while Leila grapples with her feelings for Kobi and the weight of her past. Can their love transcend the long-standing conflict between Israelis and Palestinians?
