The Adventures of Space Baby and Mental Man (2004)

Eight-year-old genius Sam befriends Blue Genes, a retired Negro Leagues baseball star living at a nursing home. Yearning for a younger brother to share his interests, Sam discovers an old vacuum tube and builds a device that lets him see a baby from another dimension – a baby nobody else can perceive. Blue, revealed to be an angel, asks for Sam's help in rebuilding the Holy Grail and restoring Earth’s connection to heaven, before Nurse Nancy and her crow can destroy everything. With the assistance of Sophia and an electronics store clerk, Sam must learn to trust his intuition and save the world from disaster.
