Description:
In 1989, rumors spread that money turned into spirit money after a delivery driver returned from Sau Lai Building, which was scheduled for demolition. Restaurant staff nearby were terrified of being contacted by a ghost. Shui, a staff member at Chiu Fat Restaurant, exploited this superstition, falsely claiming he was delivering to the ghost. He began stealing money from deliveries, replacing it with spirit money. His boss and colleagues were shocked, believing their restaurant had somehow been cursed. Finding his trick successful, Shui continued to use the same method to defraud money.
