Nicolás and Antonia are best friends struggling with the emotional and professional successes of those around them. Tired of feeling left behind after attending many weddings, they devise a daring plan: stage a fake wedding to finance their aspirations. They'll announce a secret romance, plan a lavish ceremony, and at the last minute, Antonia will leave Nicolás at the altar. Hoping the resulting scandal will deter guests from demanding gifts, they intend to divide the money.
