The film explores the relationship between Franz Kafka and Felice Bauer, which began in August 1912. During that year alone, Kafka exchanged approximately one hundred letters with her in Berlin. After five years of a demanding and often difficult connection, he destroyed Felice's letters. The documentary draws on Kafka’s letters and diary entries to reveal aspects of his literary work and personal life.
