Gingerclown (2013)

In 1983, a group of high school students enjoying a weekend near the Hollywood Hills encounter Sam, the school's underdog, on his way home. Desperate for the attention of Jenny, one of the school's most popular girls, Sam finds his path complicated by her relationship with Biff, the football team's star quarterback and a bully. Biff and his friends challenge Sam to prove himself at an abandoned amusement park, making Jenny the prize. Sam accepts, and Jenny insists on joining him, leading to a night they will both never forget.
