La Belle Étoile (2004)

The film follows a child's life through the changing seasons. We see drawings forming mazes, moments of play with his mother, scenes in a bamboo forest, races across fields of dry grass, winter snow, vibrant flowers, blossoming trees in spring, walks beneath the trees, sunrises, and clouds. Following a period of reflection and a moment of exclamation, this is the third installment in a filmed diary documenting the child's growth.
