Description:
Catania, 1960s. At the beach resort owned by the affable Rozzo Finocchiaro, Stefano, a blind elderly man, offers sharp, ironic observations on the lives of those who gather there. His scrutiny falls upon industrialist Alfredo Condorelli, married to Maria Rita and having an affair with his secretary Rosalba; the constrained Rosa, wife of the once-playful Alfredo; four prominent figures – Roberto, Michele, Armando, and Rocco; musician Gregorio Alacci; disgraced former boss Jano Suarez; the Lanzafame family; and Peppino Di Paternò, a fifty-year-old married to Ulla.
