Passe-partout (2002)

The film presents a mesmerizing atmosphere where a mobile floats suspended in space. Each pendant reveals a unique world of visual and sound elements – movements and gestures. The visuals are created from hand-cut animations combined with hand-painted and etched 35mm film, then digitized and manipulated. The music is computer-generated, evolving from a simple harmonic theme that shifts through different keys. The theme becomes clearest in a choral setting after the introduction of all five central elements of the work.
