Rojbash (2024)

Rojbash follows a group of Kurdish actors who reunite to revive a play from 25 years prior. The film explores the intersection of the play, their personal aspirations, and the present-day realities of their lives. For Kemal, a lifelong devotee of Kurdish theatre, the current political climate surrounding the Kurdish language is even more challenging than it was then. He initiates the project by gathering his scattered actor friends from around the world to restage Rojbash. As rehearsals unfold, blending everyday life with lines from the play, their vibrant days begin.
