Zniewolony teatr (2006)

This film explores the challenging choices faced by actors during wartime. It examines whether they chose to continue performing in theaters operating with the approval of the occupying authorities – a form of collaboration – or to abandon acting altogether and find new careers. The film focuses on the attitudes of actors in the General Government, particularly in Warsaw, and their responses to the directives of the Underground State and the ZASP, the Secret Theater Council, which forbade its members from working in open theaters.
