Princess in an Iron Helmet (2006)

Tamako, a 20-year-old woman, lives at home with her mother and brother, resisting adulthood. Distrustful after her father's departure, she exists in a self-imposed, confined world. She wears a helmet when outside, only visiting her mother's salon, a mechanic shop, and the bakery – where she finds joy in sweet buns. Her life is unchanging and secure, until her cat disappears, the bakery closes down, and her mother starts a new relationship.
