Description:

In 1971, during the war between India and Pakistan, Major Ranvir Kaul (Amitabh Bachchan) and over 50 of his soldiers are captured by Pakistani forces. Thirty-three years later, Ranvir's son Gaurav (Akshaye Khanna) embarks on a rescue mission to Pakistan to bring his father home, whom he hasn't seen since childhood. He's joined by Khan (Sanjay Dutt), a fellow prisoner who had previously escaped from the same camp. Together, they resort to theft and violence, meticulously planning the prisoners' escape. The film draws inspiration from the movie *The Great Escape*.
