Description:
A runaway coffin, a traditional wedding, an unusual older man, two trans people, the police, and a cute puppy unexpectedly meet on a funny and touching trip through the beautiful South of Italy. The sudden death of 103-year-old Rosa causes an uncomfortable family gathering the night before a lavish wedding. Rosa's granddaughter, Chiara Gammarota, is marrying the son of a powerful general, which delights her conservative father, Nicolo. Nicolo's "eccentric" brother, Francesco, caused a stir when he came out 40 years ago. He returns for the wedding-turned-funeral, and the two very different brothers reconnect after decades apart. Following their mother’s last wishes, they reluctantly drive through the countryside to bury her in their hometown, a journey that forces them to face long-hidden family secrets.
