This film tells the story of two impoverished fishing families living on a sandbank, whose rivalry stems from their shared poverty. It illustrates how impermanence shapes human lives and how negative emotions like hatred, anger, greed, and selfishness can lead to devastating consequences. Based on the acclaimed novel by Khin Khin Htoo, this was the final film of superstar Kyaw Hein.
