Dead of Night (2025)

In a community deeply rooted in tradition, a translator, writer, and poet clashes with the government's strict cultural controls. Facing financial hardship and his wife's expulsion from the university, he seeks refuge in a deserted house in his hometown. As he starts writing a new novel, a dangerous threat appears – a rising river that endangers his home and family. He struggles to defend against the floodwaters while resisting the government's attempts to suppress his views. Determined to complete his book, his circumstances grow increasingly desperate.
