Delirium (2020)

Recorded during the summer of 2020 while isolating, "Flying Over Brooklyn" was filmed in the backyard of a ground-floor apartment. Confined to this space, the filmmaker found fascination in observing reflections of leaves from neighboring trees on fences. These reflections shifted daily, often resembling faces. The shadows, with their tropical quality and stark vertical lines, evoked a sense of confinement, like bars within a contained jungle, prompting complex implications. The sounds accompanying the visuals were recorded with the same camera, not necessarily at the time of filming.
