Forest (2024)

Asia and Marek move their three children to the edge of an ancient forest on Poland's eastern border, seeking a better life. The forest becomes their children's playground and a second home. But as the European refugee crisis intensifies and Poland's borders become a focal point of the drama, their peaceful existence is threatened. Helping refugees is against the law, yet they struggle to ignore those in need. "Forest" explores the intersection of personal and political, using the landscape to reflect the characters’ emotions, creating a film that speaks powerfully without grandstanding.
