Description:
Petros, a widowed Cypriot man, goes to his son’s engagement party, where he’s accepting of his son’s homosexuality but still struggles to fully embrace it. While sharing traditional Cypriot snacks, Koupepia, he meets Eleni, a British Cypriot transgender woman. Despite seeming to have little in common, they connect over their shared heritage. This unexpected bond helps Petros re-examine his relationship with his son, his views on LGBTQ+ people, and his own sense of Cypriot identity. Can we look beyond our assumptions to see the people around us?
