Salt of the Earth: Palestinian Christians in the Northern West Bank (2004)

From August 2000 to December 2003, Marthame and Elizabeth Sanders volunteered with the Presbyterian Church (USA) in Zababdeh, a Christian Palestinian village. Their work focused on supporting the local church. This film shares the stories of nine Palestinian Christians living in the northern West Bank. It originated from a wish by their Palestinian neighbors to share their experiences, and a desire among Christians in the West to listen. The Sanders describe the project as "a labor of love, a response to the kindness and welcome they received from their Palestinian neighbors and colleagues."
