Winterland (2009)

The film chronicles the hectic production of a Jules Verne-inspired science-fiction movie set in a historical period. Artificial sets blur the line between reality and fantasy as actors stray into a nearby forest. Amidst the on-set drama, Tuinder navigates conflicts and develops a secret affection for the lead actress, Tara Elders. Throughout, Tuinder's voice-over reflects on events, often accompanied by his recurring character, Sally de Winter – a platinum-haired girl in a pink dress who carries a mysterious suitcase.
