The Switch (2006)

Following the unexpected death of her husband Claude, a middle-aged Georgia painter named Tara seeks a fresh start. She leaves her family and home to pursue her dream of becoming a bohemian artist, relocating to Venice Beach, California. There, she encounters a charming younger man named Stephen, who sweeps her into a whirlwind romance. Tara quickly falls deeply in love, but soon discovers Stephen has been systematically defrauding her of her savings. With the help of a resourceful attorney and his assistant, Tara engages in a series of clever maneuvers to recover her money, repeatedly outwitting Stephen.
