Description:
The brothers Martin and Simon, still children, are notorious vandals. Martin escapes reform school, and Simon flees foster care, always ending up together in the coastal town of Lignan, where their destructive reputation precedes them. This behavior may stem from their mother's departure years ago. Martin is dreamy and poetic, with unusual fantasies and clinging to a book his mother gave him. He awkwardly tries to win over a local girl named Marie. Simon, armed with a pocketknife and a stubborn nature, appears more threatening. What future awaits these boys on the path to manhood?
