Danyang: Mahar Tukar Nyawa (2024)

Galang, a young farm worker, falls in love with Resti, who comes from a wealthy family. Resti's parents forbid their daughter from loving him. Unable to accept this, Galang journeys to Mount Srandil seeking a cure. There, he gains wealth but must make regular sacrifices for his life. Dasmi, Resti's mother, discovers where her daughter-in-law is being sacrificed, and Galang secretly visits her family's home, finding their offering room. Worried about saving Resti, Galang and Dasmi go to Segoro Sewu to perform a sacrificial exchange ritual. While there, they unexpectedly have an affair as part of the ritual.
