Through the Graves the Wind Is Blowing (2024)

Detective Ivan Peric reflects the struggles of modern Croatia. He chose a career in law enforcement to avoid the booming tourism industry, but now he's battling a string of seemingly impossible murders targeting tourists. With the victims widely disliked, Ivan receives no assistance, and evidence vanishes within the bureaucratic system. He faces public and online humiliation, and his boss in the local press calls him a "lazy bureaucratic parasite." The story unfolds in Split, a city deeply affected by the breakup of Yugoslavia.
