A Star of Disgust (2024)

Mi-yeong dreamed of being a musical actress as a child, but her aspirations were repeatedly mocked due to her size, leading her to become an ordinary office worker in her early thirties, disillusioned with her lost dreams. Her life takes an unexpected turn when a video of her inadvertently becomes a lightning rod for misogyny, rapidly going viral online. Seeking refuge, Mi-yeong embarks on a solo trip and meets Dae-hyeon at a guesthouse. Dae-hyeon, who struggled with his own insecurities about being thin, has become a target of online hatred. Both are wounded by the animosity directed at them by the diverse group of people at the guesthouse, but they find solace and understanding in each other.
