R-ī-g-a (Rīgas pārvalde astoņos gadsimtos) (2001)

This film takes viewers on a journey through time and space with a guide from the 17th century. It showcases a variety of unique materials – symbols of Riga, historical buildings, and city administration matters – to provide a detailed overview of Riga's history over the centuries. Created as a gift for the city's 800th anniversary, the film complements the book "Riga Administration in Eight Centuries," a joint project by the Riga History and Navigation Museum and SIA "Rīgas nami."
