Description:
Charlie Brandis lives a predictable, unremarkable life, unnoticed by most. His parents trust him, his friends are friendly, and he's largely ignored by girls. He secretly admires Annie Briggs, who doesn't even know he exists. But today, fate intervenes when Charlie's jock friend Gary throws a party at his house while his parents are away – a party designed to bring Charlie and Annie together. Complicating matters is Margot, Gary's sister, a girl Charlie has also secretly admired, and who may be interested in him. The film explores whether Charlie will finally prioritize his own desires over the expectations of others.
