The Sound of Footsteps on the Pavement (2004)

The film follows young people struggling to save the café, revealing their desire for and engagement with activism. The documentary avoids typical video activism, instead accompanying these individuals as they navigate the changing city. As the café's fate becomes linked to a new retail development, the film explores the city's identity and aims to spark collective memories.
