Kami no Ko wa Tsubuyaku (2023)

A family is transformed when they become involved with a religious group. Haruka's mother, Aiko, a devoted follower, insists Haruka participate fully in the faith while restricting her from friendships and school activities. Her father, Shinji, however, distances himself from religion, encouraging his daughters Haruka and Inori to trust their own judgment. When Shinji unexpectedly becomes ill, their faith begins to be tested.
