Toomik’s Movie (2008)

In 2007, artist Jaan Toomik feels creatively stagnant, no longer drawn to the ideas that defined his previous success. He yearns to create a feature film, but the concept remains undefined. He fills this void with sketches, filming and painting, yet finds it all feels like a reflection of his past work. The film’s true vision lies within his private inner world, a space he keeps guarded. Toomik believes art emerges from solitude, a deeply personal truth for him.
