Description:
As the Tokyo Olympics prepare to begin, Rynosuke Chagawa looks forward to watching them on his new television. His wife Hiromi is expecting a child, and he's added a second floor to their shop for their adopted son Junnosuke to study for Tokyo University, hoping to give him a better future than he had as a writer. The family depends on Hiromi's earnings from her bar. Meanwhile, Rynosuke worries about competition from a new story called "The Virus" in the magazine that publishes his stories. Norifumi Suzuki also gets a new, more expensive TV. Mutsuko Hoshino (Roku) remains the main mechanic at the Suzuki family's auto shop, but occasionally dresses up to try and meet Dr. [name].
