Description:
Rustam is a wealthy young man who enjoys a life of leisure, spending his days with his company and his nights at clubs and parties. He finds pleasure in good drinks and the company of women until he meets Sogdiana, a dancer he was adopted by a former prisoner. Sogdiana is devoted to her stepfather and promises never to leave him. A passionate romance develops between Rustam and Sogdiana, and they plan to marry. However, Sogdiana's stepfather is a struggling alcoholic, and Rustam’s desire to possess Sogdiana leads him to a desperate decision: he resolves to kill her stepfather.
