Description:
Mandali follows Purushottam Chaubey, known as Puru, as he grapples with maintaining integrity in a world losing its moral compass and traditional values. Puru works as a clerk at a college in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, and is part of the Ramleela Mandali, playing Lord Laxmana alongside his cousin Sitaram, who portrays Lord Rama, under the direction of their uncle Ramsevak. Their lives are disrupted when Sitaram's drug addiction forces them to abandon a performance. Humiliated and feeling he has dishonored the divine, Ramsevak quits the Mandali. Puru challenges Ramsevak’s avoidance and resolves to restore his family to the stage with honor.
