Fishing for Poetry – A Celebration of Norman MacCaig (2010)

Norman MacCaig (1910-96) was a celebrated poet and skilled fly-fisher. His beloved fishing spot, Loch of the Green Corrie, is nestled in the mountains of Assynt, in the northwest of Scotland. Fiddler Aly Bain, Billy Connolly, and poet/novelist Andrew Greig commemorate MacCaig's centenary with a trip from Edinburgh to Assynt, culminating in a climb to the loch in search of its rare trout.
