Screens (2023)

This documentary examines how Brazilian digital influencers are leveraging the fact that adults spend at least half their lives looking at screens to drive social change. With social media as their primary means of communication while confined at home, nine influencers create content across various platforms. They address sensitive topics like racial representation, LGBTQ+ rights, feminism, and politics by sharing their daily lives in an accessible and straightforward manner. Through the online communities they cultivate, they explore whether our screens truly reflect the values of contemporary society.
