Description:
Inspector Sörensen seeks solace in the Frisian countryside, but his inner struggles persist. Haunted by loneliness, insomnia, and anxiety, he battles to quit his medication, yet remains trapped by his psychological torment. One night, he nearly hits a young, blind woman on a country road – malnourished and clad only in a nightgown. As she reveals her identity, Sörensen is drawn into a complex mystery of murder, religious fanaticism, and hidden truths.
