Edut (2011)

Following the second Intifada, accounts from Palestinians exposed a difficult daily existence that Israelis had long ignored, viewing it as belonging to "the other." Years later, some Israeli officers who served during the conflict shared their recollections – stories of violence, suffering, and humiliation, experiences previously considered taboo. These narratives from both sides align, offering a glimpse into the shared history of Palestine and Israel. Against a backdrop of desolate landscapes, an Israeli officer recalls events, mirrored by a Palestinian civilian's memories. The film explores the collective memory of both peoples.
