Dust to Dust: The Health Effects of 9/11 (2006)

Five years after the 9/11 attacks, the ongoing threat to American citizens comes from the World Trade Center collapse. The buildings' destruction released hundreds of thousands of pounds of dangerous materials into the air. These included carcinogens like asbestos and benzene, lead and mercury from destroyed computers, and other toxins such as PCPs, PAHs, and silicon particulates.
