Description:
This film explores the unique life of the seahorse, the only fish that swims upright. It showcases how the seahorse uses its tail to grip onto plants and mates. A distinctive bulge on the male houses vital organs and an air supply. The seahorse moves using three fins. The female deposits her eggs into the male's pouch, where they are fertilized and develop until birth through strong contractions. Inside the pouch, nourishing blood vessels support the developing embryos. We then witness a magnified view of an embryo growing, observing its heartbeat and fin movements. Young seahorses cling together. The film concludes with images of seahorses swimming in the ocean, overlaid with scenes from a horse race.
