We Were Children (2024)

In a quiet village police station, a sergeant questions Cacasotto, a young postman who is usually calm and kind but is now arrested for threatening a police officer with a knife. As Cacasotto recounts the events leading to his arrest, he begins to tell the sergeant a story from twenty years ago, about himself and his five closest friends: Gianluca, Walter, Peppino, Margherita, and his younger brother, Andrea.
