Description:

Timeless has restored films directed by Peter Christopherson and John Balance, the founders of Coil, a British experimental industrial music group, from 1970 to 1980. Shot on 8 and 16mm film, these strange and unsettling films blend family elements, performance art, body horror, and urban nightmares. They are driven by a dark imagination exploring themes of love and death. This project fills a void alongside the work of Antony Balch, Derek Jarman, and Jean Genet. Maxime Lachaud and Reivaks of Timeless present a unique look into a liminal space, joined by the late Monte Cazazza, a key figure in industrial music.
