Panggaris (2008)

In a close-knit community, a woman working as a prostitute experiences a life-altering event when her mute brother suddenly begins to speak. However, his words – "Panggaris" – are incomprehensible to everyone. The situation becomes increasingly strange with the arrival of a documentary filmmaker who captures the siblings on film. As the filmmaker investigates, he uncovers a local legend, as told by the community members themselves.
